Whether you’re a first home buyer or you’re moving up the property ladder, any dealings in real estate involve major life decisions. I’m passionate about both people and sales, and I find that helping my clients find that special place to call home is so rewarding.

What’s special about Barfoot & Thompson is that the company works as a family. It comprises one big team of 77 branches and 1,700+ salespeople across the Auckland and Northland regions. Any one salesperson from the ‘team’ can introduce buyers and share information on any property listed – which maximises exposure and is a real win for clients.

I completed a Leadership Development course and for the last 15 years I’ve been working in retail. Something I learned through this experience is an ability to understand people really quickly. In fact, while working in retail I became the go-to guy – highly skilled at negotiating and known for my solutions-oriented approach. I’m proud to say that I received two Service Awards within these roles.

Auckland’s diversity and vibrancy sets it apart from most other cities in New Zealand. Food, music, arts and culture are a reflection of the many different cultures choosing to make New Zealand home.

I live in Takanini and I love helping in the community here. Life outside of work for me is cars! I’m a big Formula One fan and I listen to lots of different music and watch podcasts when I can. Politics is a special interest of mine – who knows, I might venture into the political world one day! Last but not least, I really love dogs – I plan to get one this year, that’s 2022!
